Supported Living Program

What is the Supported Living Program?

The Supported Living Program provides supports and services for adults with developmental disabilities who live in their own homes. These services may include Supported Living Coaching and/or Personal Supports.

What is included in the Supported Living Program?

  • Assistance with locating housing
  • Skills related to activities of daily living (e.g., personal hygiene and grooming, meal preparation, or personal finances)
  • Social and adaptive skills necessary to enable recipients to reside on their own

Training

The Supported Living Pre-Service training for Supported Living Coaches is available through TRAIN Florida. Upcoming trainings, whether classroom-based or virtual, will be posted on the APD - Supported Living Pre-Service Training event registration page in TRAIN Florida.
