Who We Are, Who We Serve
The Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) oversees a statewide service delivery system designed to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities and their families. APD assists in identifying and addressing service needs while ensuring access to a comprehensive range of supports that promote well-being and quality of life. These supports may include social, medical, behavioral, residential, and therapeutic services. Floridians can access services through multiple pathways that have been uniquely designed to meet individuals in need. For more information about available services, please visit our Pathways to Services tab.
