Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Managed Care Pilot Program

The State of Florida implemented a new pilot program to offer a comprehensive service array through an integrated managed care model in designated counties. This is a pilot program operated by a contracted vendor, Florida Community Care, LLC and includes a variety of services to meet individual needs for a specified number of participants with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Examples of services include but are not limited to services such as personal supports, meaningful day activities (including employment and community integration), nursing, behavior analysis, supported living and residential care, and therapies, as well as managed medical assistance and other long term care waiver services.

Eligible individuals for the pilot must:

  • Be 18 years or older and in one of the APD Pre-Enrollment categories 1-6 for iBudget Florida Waiver services,
  • Reside in Hardee, Highlands, Hillsborough, Manatee, Miami-Dade, Monroe, and Polk counties, and
  • Be eligible for Medicaid.
