Sunland is committed to a strong and viable volunteer program as an integral component of our service delivery system. Community involvement in our agency is essential in bridging the gap between public and private resources and human needs. Volunteer Services is responsible for the recruitment, determination of eligibility for specific placement, orientation, training, supervision, and program management of volunteers. The program supplies goods and services to augment those provided by Sunland and the Department. Many partnerships with businesses and organizations in the local and surrounding communities contribute to improving the quality of life for individuals of Sunland.
