Governor Rick Scott Appoints Seven to Family Care Councils
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. —Today, Governor Rick Scott announced two appointments and five reappointments to Family Care Councils across the state.
Area Three, Family Care Council
Dr. Elizabeth A. Hill, 59, of Gainesville, is the owner of Elizabeth A. Hill D.D.S. PA. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning May 12, 2015, and ending June 2, 2017.
Area Four, Family Care Council
Amanda Caswell, 40, of St. Augustine, is an advocacy specialist for the Arc of Jacksonville. She is reappointed for a term beginning May 12, 2015, and ending August 4, 2017.
Karen Prewitt, 52, of Jacksonville, is the family outreach coordinator for the Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville. She is reappointed for a term beginning June 30, 2015, and ending June 29, 2018.
Moira Rossi, 27, of Jacksonville, is an advocate for persons with disabilities. She is reappointed for a term beginning May 12, 2015, and ending March 29, 2018.
Area Nine, Family Care Council
Colleen Whitman, 50, of Boca Raton, is an advocate for persons with disabilities. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning May 12, 2015, and ending May 7, 2018.
Area Ten, Family Care Council
Betty Watkins, 56, of Pompano Beach, is an advocate for persons with disabilities. She is reappointed for a term beginning May 12, 2015, and ending September 23, 2016.
Area Thirteen, Family Care Council
Jeffrey Nally, 47, of Bushell, is a facility technician for Sumter Electric Cooperative. He is reappointed for a term beginning May 12, 2015, and ending September 18, 2017.
